Flouracity prides itself as being a trusted space for managers, leaders, and all business professionals to learn new skills, expand their networks, and advance their careers. To meet this goal, we collect some personal data from users when they voluntarily submit that information to us through online forms, social media, telephone calls, or electronic or regular mail. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, share, and protect your personal data.

Collection of personal information

When you submit information to Flouracity, whether directly to us or through third-party applications (such as in response to a form posted on Linkedin), we collect contact information and general information about you and your organization so we can contact you. Specifically, we collect, store, and process the following types of data:

  • Your company or organization

  • Your job title or role

  • Information related to the Flouracity offerings or services that you have expressed interest in; and

  • Information required to provide Flouracity services to you.

Use of personal information

We will only use your personal information with your consent to keep you informed of Flouracity’s services or when required to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Specifically, we will use the data to contact you or send periodic emails about our services and deliver products, services, or support.

We do not sell, trade, share, or forward your personal data to any third parties, although we may disclose personal data if we believe in good faith that we are required to do so to comply with applicable law, court orders, a subpoena, or other legal requirements. We may also disclose personal information to our lawyers or appropriate authorities if we believe that disclosure is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone to protect you, other users of our services, or the general public.

Protecting your information is a team effort. We use industry-standard security technology and operational practices to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. We store your personal data on encrypted servers dedicated to use by Flouracity, and your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent. 

Data retention policy and right to be forgotten

Flouracity only retains your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Flouracity’s standard data retention period is three years. During this period, we will use the personal data you provide for the purposes laid out in this privacy policy. We will securely dispose of your personal data three years from the date you last contacted Flouracity or used our services, unless you request the deletion of your personal data at an earlier date.

Consent to contact and Collection and use of personal data

By submitting your information to Flouracity, you agree and consent to the terms of this privacy policy. Specifically, you consent to Flouracity contacting you by email, telephone, or electronic mail for the specific purposes specified in this privacy policy. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us at blooming@flouracity.com.

Right to rectification

Our services work best when your information is accurate and complete. You may request a copy of the personal data that we collect from you by contacting us at blooming@flouracity.com. If there are errors in any of the data we have collected, you may notify us at the same email address, and we will promptly correct the errors.

Non-discrimination

Flouracity takes its privacy seriously and will not discriminate against you if you decide to exercise your rights to request or delete information or to opt-out of future contact campaigns. We will respect your wishes and will not deny you services, increase the rate of those services, or decrease your service quality solely because you exercised your rights to review/correct/delete your data.

International Compliance

Flouracity recognizes that it may collect information from and provide services to people who are nationals of a European Union country.  The personal data we collect from you will be handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 2016, under which Flouracity acts as a data controller and data processor. We process your personal data according to the GDPR’s data protection principles, maintain appropriate technical and organizational data security and privacy controls, and consider privacy and data protection “by design and by default” in the design of any new service or activity.

We may change this privacy policy at any time to implement privacy best practices, comply with any changes in law or regulation, or describe changes in the way that we handle your information. We will post any changes here, so you should check back here periodically to review our Privacy Policy. If the changes relate to the way we use, protect, or share your information, we will send you an updated policy to renew your consent and afford you the opportunity to exercise your right to change or delete the personal information we have collected.
